In Norse mythology, Andhrimnir once tirelessly looked after the physical well-being of the gods as well as of the honourably fallen, who were extensively indulging in their survival in the carefree warrior's paradise Valhalla. For this purpose, he slaughtered the beast Sæhrimnir day after day, which was resurrected at night to be eaten again the next day. An even higher standing in the favour of the gods would have earned the chef a cursory glance at Midgard (Norse term for earth/world), for knifemaker Dirk Hofmeister knows like no other, how to craft mythical blades with Norse magic. The Andhrimnir Mini bears the unmistakable hallmarks of Midgard's knives of full tang construction, a 6 mm thick Wharncliffe blade made of D2 in a gritty two-tone finish with hollows on both sides and jimpings to ensure a maximum function with a maximum stability for all daily cutting tasks. The ergonomic, milled handle scales* made of G10 a enable comfortable and effort-free work. The custom-fit Kydex sheath with a full-sized belt adapter as well as lanyard hole round off the package harmoniously and revive the spirit of the Vikings in the fixed knife. * Other handle scales in a wide variety of shapes and colours can be downloaded directly from us as a file for the home 3D printer or custom-made at Midgards Messer.
