The Bend makes the Trend - the renowned knife designer Lucas Burnley sets new impulses with the Boker Plus Bend and pays tribute to his hometown Bend in the US state of Oregon with this homage of a practical and tactical EDC knife. Clad in elegant black, the spring-assisted pocket-knife opens the ball-bearing Spearpoint blade made of D2 smoothly and softly either by flipper or removable thumb disc, while the linerlock reliably locks the knife in place. The flattering jimpings on the handle made of GFN, which combines stability and low weight, promises a firm grip. The matching blue-coloured elements such as the liner, tip-up clip (r) or the backspacer with a lanyard hole accentuate the modern appearance of the assisted opener.

Lucas Burnley from Oregon has been a full-time custom knifemaker and designer since 2003. His distinctive knives blend clean, modern lines with tactical origins - a style Lucas identifies as Post-Tactical. His designs for fixed blades and pocket knives are both playful and sophisticated and often incorporate subtle neo-Japanese elements.
