In the faction of Balisong knives, the Boker Plus Faction by Jakub Wieczorkiewicz takes a special role. Opened, it presents itself like an elegant gentleman's knife, since the usual recesses in the handle for this type of knife were dispensed with. Instead, the knife designer from Poltergeist Works relies on mass as well as class for the Boker Plus Faction. Balanced in use and sweeping in opening, the classy titanium handle with Bead Blast finish makes a commanding impression in the hand in any position. The blade made of powder metallurgy CPM-S-35VN easily masters even difficult cutting tasks and is equipped with a decorative ricasso on the back of the blade. The Deep-Carry-Clip (Tip-Up/r) and the high-quality felt case round off the everyday use of the Butterfly knife.
Beautiful Functional Knife
I got this knife straight from Boker. It is as beautiful as it looks in the picture. The blade is very cleanly ground, The handles are machined to perfection, I can see a cast mark on the little latch but that's fine. It came a little stiff and I wondered if it was a bushing or bearing knife since there is really very little info about it anywhere. However, after a drop of MCT oil (I may use it for food sometimes) and a day of flipping it around it has loosened up a lot. It's definitely riding bearings. In fact, I want to snug it up a tad. Here are my complaints, I'm left handed. I really wish there was a way to swap the clip to the other handle, but it's machined for the clip and that's the only position available. If it comes open in my pocket I will cut myself. Also, I think it requires a special tool to tighten it. You could do it with a flathead and an allen wrench but it would be easy to strip the titanium hardware with a regular flathead. I really wish there was a list of replacement parts or some maintenance instructions for the future but if I can't get them from Boker I'll have to figure it out myself. Regardless, I still carry it every day, even in my left pocket and use it when I need it. Besides not being left hand ideal, it suits me and I love it.

The Polish Knife Maker Jakub Wieczorkiewicz manufactures tactical pocket and fixed knives under the brand Poltergeist Works from high-quality materials. Almost all individual parts are manufactured completely by hand, without modern production techniques such as CNC, WaterJet or laser. The components he uses are made exclusively of high-end materials. For example, only powder metallurgical steels are used for the blades of his pocket knives.
