At the age of 18, Jürgen Schanz began his apprenticeship as a Knifesmith, by now he is not only member and foreman of the German Knife Makers Guild, but is also known world-wide. Knives and swords of such extraordinary quality require patience, selected materials, a lot of fingertip feeling and a sense of aesthetic design. It is the ideal combination of form and function that is reflected in each of its designs and creates enthusiasm throughout the world. Mediocrity is not an option for the Knife Maker.
