Oil Stones

The classic Arkansas oil stones are popular with many knife fans because they feel distinctly different from water stones. Oil stones don't produce grinding sludge. They are not classified by grain but by stone density. Arkansas oil stones are very popular for delicate finishes and are often used as the fine grind in combination with a different grinding system.
