Sharpening Sticks

A Sharpening Stick is a grinding tool in a classic rod shape with an abrasive surface that ensures a proper grind. The surface usually consists of ceramic, diamond or ruby. A sharpening steel, on the other hand, can only be used to straighten an existing edge that was bent during usage. A sharpening steel cannot provide a true sharpening grind.
