The D2 blade has a fine lengthwise satinized finish with decorative filework on the spine that also serves as a thumb rest. It rests on ball bearings and opens with the front flipper that is typical for the Japanese knifemaker's designs. The blade is secured with a sturdy linerlock. The slightly contoured handle scales are made from exclusive Cocobolo wood mounted on solid stainless liners. The full-length spacer also consists of stainless steel, creating an elegant contrast to the dark scales. A black leather lanyard and 3D CNC-milled clip complete the design. With high-quality nylon case for storage.

The Japanese Knife Maker Kansei Matsuno is a master of his craft, and his designs undoubtedly have their own style. He has been making Knives since 1992 and exhibited his designs for the first time at the Seki Outdoor Knife Show just one year later. The skillful combination of Japanese style elements with the features of modern Pocketknives convinced us right away. The mostly slim and lightweight constructions, together with the straightforward designs and the classic Japanese blades make extremely elegant Knives for everyday use.
